Preview Roundups
March 26, 2017
Minnesota at Detroit 12:30 PM ET
The Minnesota Wild can’t seem to find the form that led to a position atop the Western Conference when the month began but will attempt to pull themselves out of the funk with a road contest against the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday afternoon. The Wild are a baffling 3-10-0 in March - 1-7-0 over their last eight - and were booed off the ice Saturday after a 4-2 home loss to Vancouver - their fifth this month to a team not in a playoff spot.
Dallas at New Jersey 5:00 PM ET
The New Jersey Devils attempt to end a string of five straight contests without a regulation victory when they continue their three-game homestand Sunday against the Dallas Stars. New Jersey halted a brutal 10-game slide (0-8-2) with a convincing 6-2 triumph over Philadelphia on March 16 but hasn't posted a 60-minute victory since, going 1-4-0 with its win coming in overtime.
Philadelphia at Pittsburgh 7:00 PM ET
The Pittsburgh Penguins continue to add points despite a growing injury list and look to stay on the heels of first-place Washington when they host the rival Philadelphia Flyers on Sunday. The Penguins trail the Capitals by three points for the top spot in the Metropolitan Division - and the NHL - after losing in a shootout on two consecutive nights, including Friday's 4-3 setback against the New York Islanders.
Vancouver at Winnipeg 8:00 PM ET
The Vancouver Canucks hope to keep building confidence with a young group that they can take into next season as they've posted impressive wins over the Western Conference’s top two teams over their last three games. The Canucks look to add a victory over another team with a promising future when they visit the Winnipeg Jets on Sunday.
NY Rangers at Anaheim 9:00 PM ET
The Anaheim Ducks are in the driver's seat as they look to finish atop the Pacific Division for the fifth consecutive season. Anaheim, which is riding a six-game point streak (5-0-1), attempts to better its chances Sunday as it concludes a three-game homestand against Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers.
