NY Rangers at Toronto 7:30 PM ET
The New York Rangers look to continue their respective good fortune both recently and against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday when the Original Six clubs conclude their three-game season series at Air Canada Centre. Despite falling short in a shootout in its last outing, New York owns a 7-1-1 mark in its last nine contests overall and an 11-4-1 record in its last 16 versus Toronto.
NY Islanders at Montreal 7:30 PM ET
The New York Islanders venture into Canada for the third time this month on Thursday as they make the second stop on their franchise-record nine-game road trip with a visit to the Montreal Canadiens. New York came up empty in its previous two trips to Canadian cities Ottawa and Toronto, but improved to 11-4-2 under interim coach Doug Weight with a 3-1 victory over Detroit on Tuesday.
Calgary at Tampa Bay 7:30 PM ET
The Tampa Bay Lightning look to continue their surge toward playoff position in the Eastern Conference when they host the equally hot Calgary Flames on Thursday night. The Lightning are 5-0-2 in their last seven contests after a 4-1 victory over Edmonton on Tuesday and ironed out some issues in the defensive end, allowing 11 goals during their point streak while getting key offensive players in gear.
Colorado at Nashville 8:00 PM ET
The Nashville Predators are clinging to the top wild card in the Western Conference but they have developed an alarming trend over the past two weeks of allowing opponents to score in bunches and falling into big early deficits. Nashville continues a four-game homestand Thursday against the league-worst Colorado Avalanche.
Arizona at Chicago 8:30 PM ET
The Chicago Blackhawks are making a spirited ascent in both the Central Division and Western Conference standings and are banking that a pair of familiar faces once again will lead them to the top of the mountain. Fresh off his fourth regular-season hat trick and second career five-point performance, captain Jonathan Toews looks to send the red-hot Blackhawks to their third straight win and eighth in nine outings on Thursday as they vie for a season sweep of the visiting Arizona Coyotes.
Boston at Los Angeles 10:30 PM ET
The Boston Bruins aim to reclaim a postseason position Thursday as they continue their four-game road trip against the Los Angeles Kings. Boston fell to 1-1-0 on its trek and had its four-game overall winning streak snapped with a 5-3 setback in Anaheim on Wednesday, falling out of the second wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference in the process.
