April 09, 2017
Toronto at New York 12:00 PM ET
The Toronto Raptors will try to secure their second straight 50-win season and continue their playoff preparation when they visit the New York Knicks on Sunday. The Raptors' 96-94 win over the Miami Heat in their home finale was the squad's 10th win in 12 games and put them in sole possession of third place in the Eastern Conference entering Saturday's action.
Cleveland at Atlanta 3:30 PM ET
Suffice to say the Cleveland Cavaliers will be ready for Sunday’s game at the Atlanta Hawks, two days after being stunned on their home floor by an Atlanta squad missing four starters. The Cavaliers, who led Boston by one game for the Eastern Conference’s top spot entering Saturday, defeated the Celtics on Wednesday before squandering a nine-point second-half lead to the Hawks in a 114-100 defeat that left Cleveland coach Tyronn Lue searching for answers.
Oklahoma City at Denver 5:00 PM ET
The Denver Nuggets' quest for a playoff spot will run into Russell Westbrook twice in the final three games, beginning with a matchup against the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday. The Nuggets trail the Portland Trail Blazers by 1 1/2 games for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference, and Sunday's home finale is one of two contests in the last three versus the Thunder.
Dallas at Phoenix 6:00 PM ET
Devin Booker looks to continue a torrid scoring pace in the season’s final stretch as his Phoenix Suns try to put a pair of wins together after a long losing streak Sunday night when they host the Dallas Mavericks. Booker poured in 37 points Friday as Phoenix stunned Oklahoma City 120-99 to end a franchise record-tying 13-game losing streak and the second-year pro is averaging almost 30 in his last five outings.
Houston at Sacramento 6:00 PM ET
With their playoff seed secure, the Houston Rockets commence their final road trip of the regular season Sunday with a visit to the Sacramento Kings. The Rockets fell 114-109 against the Detroit Pistons on Friday at home, their fourth loss in the last six games.
Detroit at Memphis 6:00 PM ET
The Memphis Grizzlies will continue the process of preparing for their first-round playoff matchup when they host the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. The seventh seed in the Western Conference playoffs was locked up with Friday's 101-88 win over the New York Knicks, which means the Grizzlies will be playing the San Antonio Spurs in the first round.
Minnesota at L.A. Lakers 9:30 PM ET
The Los Angeles Lakers go after a season-high fourth straight victory when they host the struggling Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday night. The Lakers knocked off playoff-bound Memphis and San Antonio before getting 25 points from Julius Randle while forcing 23 turnovers in a 98-94 triumph against Sacramento on Friday.
