March 15, 2017
Dallas at Washington 7:00 PM ET
The Washington Wizards are battling for the No. 2 spot in the Eastern Conference and fell a half-game behind the Boston Celtics in that race with a rare loss on Monday. The Wizards will try to bounce back and earn their eighth win in 10 games when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.
Charlotte at Indiana 7:00 PM ET
The Indiana Pacers will try to rebound from an offensive collapse when they host the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday. In search of consecutive victories for the first time in well over a month, the Pacers lost a 10-point halftime lead in New York on Tuesday, scoring 29 second-half points in an 87-81 loss.
Minnesota at Boston 7:30 PM ET
After assisting in the Boston Celtics' pursuit of a better spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs, the Minnesota Timberwolves will pay Boston a visit Wednesday night. The Timberwolves have won seven of their last 10 and Monday's 119-104 win over Washington at home allowed the Celtics to leap-frog the Wizards and reclaim second place in the East, two games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers entering Tuesday.
New Orleans at Miami 7:30 PM ET
The Miami Heat looked like a team going nowhere when it owned an 11-30 record at the season's midway point. The Heat have been one of the top teams in the league since that time and look for their 22nd victory in 27 games when they host the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday.
Utah at Detroit 7:30 PM ET
The Utah Jazz are taking aim at homecourt advantage for the opening round of the playoffs and look to record their sixth victory in seven games when they visit the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. The contest is the opener of a four-game road trip for the Jazz, who reside in fourth place in the Western Conference - two games ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Memphis at Chicago 8:00 PM ET
The Chicago Bulls and the Memphis Grizzlies both snapped lengthy slides on Monday, but only one of those teams is still hanging around in the top eight of its respective conference. The Bulls will try to climb back toward the No. 8 spot in the East when they host the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
L.A. Lakers at Houston 8:00 PM ET
The Houston Rockets are feeling good about themselves after a solid victory and now look to beat up on the worst team in the Western Conference when they host the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday. The Rockets outplayed the defending NBA champions on Sunday when unstoppable James Harden led Houston to a 117-112 home win over the Cleveland Cavaliers and can clinch a playoff spot by beating Los Angeles.
Portland at San Antonio 8:00 PM ET
The San Antonio Spurs have won 11 of their last 12 games entering Wednesday's matchup against the visiting Portland Trail Blazers and are putting pressure on first-place Golden State in the Western Conference race. The Warriors on Tuesday moved one-half game ahead of the Spurs, who aim to regain a share of the lead against a Portland squad that badly needs victories.
Sacramento at Phoenix 10:00 PM ET
The Sacramento Kings and the Phoenix Suns are both spending the final month of the season building toward the future, but only one seems to be making a lot of progress. The Suns will try to continue the strides they've made since the All-Star break when they host the Kings on Wednesday.
Milwaukee at L.A. Clippers 10:30 PM ET
The Milwaukee Bucks are teetering on the edge of the top eight in the Eastern Conference and can't afford to go on a losing streak. The Los Angeles Clippers, who host the Bucks on Wednesday, are more secure in the top eight of the West but are fighting for homecourt advantage in the first round and won’t make things easy on Milwaukee.
