Marco Rossi scored at 3:05 of overtime to lift the Minnesota Wild to a 4-3 overtime win against the host Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday.
Rossi scored on a one-timer from the right circle.
Matt Boldy had two goals and an assist, Brock Faber had three assists, and Marc-Andre Fleury made 25 saves for the Wild, who snapped a four-game losing streak.
Cole Sillinger had a hat trick and Adam Boqvist had two assists for the Blue Jackets. Daniil Tarasov made 33 saves.
After Fleury made a stop two minutes into the contest, Minnesota started to push the pace and piled up an 8-2 edge in shots on goal by the seven-minute mark.
But the hosts struck first on their third shot on goal, courtesy of Sillinger at 8:09 of the first period. Jake Bean took a short pass from Boqvist and dished a seam pass down low to an incoming Sillinger, who got his stick on it in the low slot outside the right circle to send it past Fleury glove side for a 1-0 lead.
Boldy scored five seconds into a power play to tie it 1-1 at 14:48. Joel Eriksson Ek won a faceoff back to Faber, who quickly dished off to Boldy for a one-timer from the top of the right circle.
Sillinger connected again 17 seconds into the second period to put the Blue Jackets ahead 2-1. Kirill Marchenko forced a turnover above the right circle in the Wild zone and took it down low before sending a backhand pass to Sillinger, whose shot from the circle beat Fleury high.
Boldy tied it 2-2 with another power-play tally at 10:15. Mats Zuccarello, in his first game back after a nine-game game absence due to an upper-body injury, sent a cross-ice pass to Boldy in the left circle, and Boldy reached forward to backhand it past Tarasov.
Sillinger completed the hat trick and made it 3-2 Blue Jackets when he tipped Boqvist's point shot on the power play at 14:15 of the third period.
With Fleury pulled for the extra attacker, Marcus Johansson tied it 3-3 at 18:28.
