Bruins 5, Lightning 0: David Krejci, Shawn Thornton and defenseman Adam McQuaid scored their first goals of the season and Tuukka Rask made 23 saves as visiting Boston rolled over Tampa Bay.

Chris Kelly and Patrice Bergeron also tallied for the Bruins, who beat the Lightning 3-1 in the season opener for both on Oct. 3 in Boston. Rask turned aside nine shots in both the first and third periods and five in the second to register his 17th career shutout and first this season.

Ben Bishop allowed four goals on 17 shots before being pulled in the second period, losing for the first time in six outings this season. Anders Lindback made four saves in relief for Tampa Bay, which is 3-2-0 on its seven-game homestand.

Krejci moved down the middle and got his stick on Milan Lucic’s feed to score just 92 seconds into the contest. McQuaid doubled the advantage 4:37 into the second period, ripping a shot from the top of the slot past Bishop with the help of Jarome Iginla's screen.

Bergeron took a cross-ice pass from Reilly Smith on the rush and beat Bishop from the right faceoff circle with 5:08 left in the second to make it 3-0. Kelly worked his way to the left of the net and scored his third goal of the season off a feed from Brad Marchand 55 seconds later, and Thornton capped the scoring 34 seconds into the third.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Rask has posted shutouts in two of his last three games against Tampa Bay, allowing only one goal in the other. … The Lightning scratched RW Brett Connolly after the 2010 sixth overall pick made his season debut on Thursday. … Bruins C Carl Soderberg returned from an ankle injury and was one of 12 different Boston players with one point in his first game of the season.
