Sharks 4, Ducks 0: Tommy Wingels registered his first career three-point performance with a goal and two assists while Antti Niemi made 22 saves as host San Jose completed a home-and-home sweep.

Joe Pavelski, Patrick Marleau and Brent Burns also scored while Logan Couture notched two assists for the Sharks, who improved to 9-1-4 at HP Pavilion as they began a seven-game homestand.

Niemi turned aside 10 shots in the first period, seven in the second and five in the third en route to his 21st career shutout and second this season. It was the first blanking against the Ducks by a San Jose goaltender since Evgeni Nabokov accomplished the feat on March 15, 2009.

Pavelski opened the scoring exactly one minute into the contest as he beat Jonas Hiller on a wraparound at the left post. Marleau doubled the lead at 4:52 of the first period, when his shot from the left faceoff circle glanced off the goaltender's right arm and into the net.

San Jose cashed in on a power-play opportunity less than five minutes later to make it 3-0 as Burns beat Hiller with a one-timer from the top of the left circle. In eight games since shifting from defense to forward, Burns has registered four goals and five assists.

Wingels completed the scoring 6:44 into the third, when he fired a shot from the right circle into the top right corner of the net while short-handed.

Hiller made 25 saves for the Pacific Division-leading Ducks, whose season-high losing streak reached four games.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Pavelski has scored in two straight games following a 10-game drought. ... San Jose LW Ryane Clowe returned from a four-game absence due to a shoulder injury and notched an assist. ... RW Radek Dvorak made his debut for the Ducks after being signed on Sunday. The veteran registered one shot on goal in just over 11 minutes of ice time.
