Canucks 5, Ducks 0: Cory Schneider made 30 saves for his fifth career shutout and Mason Raymond scored twice as visiting Vancouver capitalized on some undisciplined play by Anaheim.

Daniel Sedin had a goal and an assist and Aaron Volpatti and Zack Kassian also tallied for the Canucks, who got Ducks stars like Corey Perry off their game early and finished 3-for-9 on the power play.

Volpatti fought Anaheim's Matt Beleskey early in the first period and Sedin opened the scoring on a 5-on-3 power play after Anaheim captain Ryan Getzlaf was whistled for a cross-checking penalty. Raymond added to the lead on another power play late in the period.

After taking a double-minor penalty that led to Kassian’s goal, Perry grabbed Vancouver defenseman Keith Ballard with 7:38 remaining in the game and began throwing punches. Perry received a major for fighting, while Ballard was assessed a roughing minor.

Raymond made it 5-0 with 4:59 remaining on a wrist shot from the top of the left circle that fooled Jonas Hiller, who stopped 29 shots. Vancouver captain Henrik Sedin had two assists.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Beleskey fought again three minutes into the third period when Kevin Bieksa challenged him. … Canucks center Manny Malhotra missed the game to attend the birth of his son. … Vancouver rookie Jordan Schroeder assisted on Raymond’s second goal for his first NHL point in his second career game.
