STARS 3, FLAMES 2 (OT): Mike Ribeiro scored at 2:01 of overtime as Dallas edged Calgary to halt a three-game losing streak.

Adam Burish and Steve Ott also tallied, Ribeiro added an assist and Kari Lehtonen made 25 saves as the Stars won for just the third time in eight home games.

Dallas did suffer a loss, however, as All-Star Jamie Benn left the game midway through the second period with a lower-body injury. Benn appeared to get hit in the leg by Calgary defenseman Mark Giordano's skate blade when the two collided along the boards.

Ribeiro grabbed the puck along the left-wing boards and moved across the zone to the top of the right faceoff circle before beating Miikka Kiprusoff with a blast for his first goal in six games.

Burish opened the scoring midway through the first period with his second goal in as many contests following a 16-game drought. Jake Dowell made a pass from behind the net to Burish, whose knuckler of shot from the doorstep beat Kiprusoff to the glove side.

Calgary captain Jarome Iginla knotted the contest with 53 seconds remaining in the session, converting Alex Tanguay's return pass from the left faceoff circle for his 23rd of the season.

Ott gave Dallas a 2-1 lead during a power play late in the second with a one-timer from above the right circle as Burish screened Kiprusoff. But defenseman Jay Bouwmeester found Mike Cammalleri alone near the right post for the tying goal with just over five minutes to play in the third.

Kiprusoff stopped 29 shots for the Flames, who have earned a point in seven straight games both overall (4-0-3) and on the road (3-0-4).

GAME NOTEBOOK: Dallas parted with a defenseman earlier in the day, trading pending free agent Nicklas Grossman to Philadelphia for a pair of draft picks. The Stars will receive a second-rounder in this year's draft and a third-rounder in 2013. ... Ott's goal was his first in 24 career games against Calgary. ... Burish had scored four of his five goals this season on the road prior to his tally on Thursday. ... Iginla has tallied in five of his last seven games.
