Adam Lowry's tiebreaking goal with 73 seconds left in regulation gave the visiting Winnipeg Jets a 4-3 comeback win over the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday.
The Sharks held a 3-2 lead until Kyle Connor's power-play equalizer at 11:56 of the third period. Lowry then put Winnipeg ahead for good by tipping in Dylan DeMelo's point shot for his fourth game-winning goal of the season.
Connor had two goals in another huge performance for the Jets' top line. Mark Scheifele added a goal and two assists, and Gabriel Vilardi notched three assists.
Winnipeg is 5-1-1 in its last seven games, including wins in its past three road games.
Connor Hellebuyck stopped 32 of 35 shots to earn his league-leading 20th win of the season.
The hard-luck loss dropped San Jose to 1-5-0 in its past six games.
Macklin Celebrini and Tyler Toffoli each had a goal and an assist for the Sharks. Fabian Zetterlund scored San Jose's other goal, and Jake Walman contributed two assists.
Alexandar Georgiev stopped 29 of 33 shots.
San Jose controlled the first-period action before Winnipeg finally sparked to life. Vilardi's pass down the ice set up Connor and Scheifele for a two-on-one rush and Connor's first goal of the game at 12:18.
Toffoli answered for the Sharks with his team-leading 13th goal. Just 1:52 into the second period, Celebrini sent a pass from behind the net to an open Toffoli for the conversion.
The teams then exchanged power-play goals before the second intermission. At 7:28, a crisp series of passes perfectly set Scheifele up for his 17th goal. Celebrini responded at the 17:11 mark with a backhander that fooled a screened Hellebuyck.
Zetterlund gave the Sharks their first lead of the game 4:44 into the third period. During a two-on-one rush, Zetterlund held the puck and took the shot himself, beating Hellebuyck with a wrist shot.
Winnipeg's league-best power play unit was 2-for-2 on the goals from Scheifele and Connor. The Jets are 32-for-101 (31.7 percent) with the extra attacker this season.
