Aaron Rodgers passed for 341 yards and four touchdowns and Davante Adams had 121 receiving yards and two scores to lift the host Green Bay Packers to a 45-30 win against the Chicago Bears on Sunday night.
NFC North-leading Green Bay (10-3) seized control with rushing and receiving touchdowns from Aaron Jones a minute apart in the third quarter as the Bears (4-9) sputtered to their seventh loss in eight games.
Jakeem Grant had 182 total yards for Chicago while visiting the end zone on a 46-yard catch-and-run and a 97-yard punt return in a high-octane second quarter. The Bears held a 24-21 edge over the 15 minutes in what now ranks as the highest-scoring quarter between the rivals, who met for the 204th time Sunday.
The Bears and Packers combined for five touchdowns of 35-plus yards in the second quarter, the first such quarter in the NFL since 1951. Rasul Douglas struck for Green Bay's most explosive play in that span, scoring on a 55-yard return of a Justin Fields interception.
After also returning an interception for a touchdown in Green Bay's most recent game, Douglas is the second Packer in franchise history to register a pick-six in consecutive weeks. Hall of Famer Herb Adderley also accomplished the feat in 1965.
Green Bay trailed 27-21 at halftime but outscored the Bears 17-0 in the third quarter while boasting a 151-8 edge in net yards. The Packers opened the quarter with a nine-play, 75-yard drive capped by Jones' 3-yard scoring run, with the ensuing point-after giving the Packers the lead for good with 9:24 remaining in the third quarter.
After a strip sack of Fields on the Bears' next possession, Rodgers found Jones for a 23-yard touchdown to extend the lead to 35-27.
Fields, who missed the past two games with injured ribs, was 18-for-33 passing for 224 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions while rushing for a game-high 74 yards. Cairo Santos kicked field goals of 23, 44 and 43 yards as the Bears reached a season high in points.
Rodgers was 29-for-37 through the air while eclipsing 300 yards passing for the third straight game. AJ Dillon had 15 carries for 71 yards for the Packers.
Both teams had offensive linemen leave the game with injuries -- Billy Turner (knee) for the Packers and Jason Peters (ankle) for the Bears.
