Joshua Kelley rushed for 164 yards and a career-high four touchdowns, and quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson passed for 176 yards and two touchdowns before leaving with an injury, as the host Bruins blew out No. 24 Arizona State 42-32 at the Rose Bowl on Saturday.

Thompson-Robinson left with an apparent left leg injury in the fourth quarter, but not before he threw touchdowns to wide receiver Kyle Philips and tight end Devin Asiasi, as the Bruins (3-5, 3-2 Pac-12) led 42-10 after Asiasi's score late in the third quarter.

UCLA kept its postseason hopes alive in a division in which all six teams have at least one loss. The Bruins have won two in a row and three of five.

Freshman Jayden Daniels completed 20 of 29 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 67 yards and another score as the Sun Devils (5-3, 2-3) lost their second straight.

Kelley has rushed for 340 yards and five touchdowns in his last two games and has three 100-yard games in his last four, with a total of 541 yards over that span.

Daniels threw two touchdown passes to Frank Darby, who had six receptions for 110 yards, and another to Nolan Matthews. All came after Thompson-Robinson was forced out after fumbling with 12:10 remaining, lessening the margin of defeat.

Arizona State gave up season highs in points and rushing yards (217). The Sun Devils have lost three of the four games in which they entered ranked in the AP Top 25 this season.

Arizona State running back Eno Benjamin, who leads the Pac-12 with four 100-yard games, had 46 yards on 13 carries.

Kelley scored on a 1-yard run after the Bruins recovered a fumble on Arizona State's first series. Then Daniels scored on a 1-yard run following a Bruins fumble at their own 4-yard line to tie it at 7.

Kelley scored on 5- and 16-yard runs to cap two 16-play drives of 81 and 80 yards for a 21-7 lead with 4:22 left in the half. The Bruins ate up 15 minutes, 41 seconds on those two drives and converted a fourth-down play on each.

Thompson-Robinson's 20-yard scoring pass to Philips with 25 seconds remaining in the first half made it 28-7, and Kelley scored from 2 yards out on the first possession of the second half for a 35-7 lead.
