Moses Wright had 24 points and seven rebounds to lead Georgia Tech to a 74-64 win over Florida A&M on Friday night in Atlanta.

Michael Devoe had 15 points and eight assists, Bubba Parham finished with 13 points and eight rebounds and Jose Alvarado had 11 points for Georgia Tech (3-3).

Florida A&M (1-5) was led by M.J. Randolph's 17 points. Jalen Speer had 12 points and Evins Desir finished with 10.

The Rattlers have yet to play a home game. Some of the Rattlers' previous games have been at Georgia, Oregon and Oklahoma.

Devoe's layup with 59 seconds left gave Georgia Tech a 70-61 lead.

After Florida A&M's Kamron Reaves made 1 of 2 free throw attempts, Wright dunked to put the Yellow Jackets ahead 72-62 with 33 seconds left.

Florida A&M made 53.8 percent of its shots in the second half despite going the last 2:11 without a field goal.

The Rattlers threatened after going on a 13-5 run to cut the lead to 56-51 with 6:05 left.

Georgia Tech won the rebounding battle 38-28 and dominated the Rattlers in points in the paint 34-16.

The Yellow Jackets also shot well in the second half, making 51.9 percent of their shots.

Georgia Tech assisted on 18 of its 27 field goals in the game to go with only 10 turnovers.

Wright and Alvarado combined for 20 points in the first half to lead Georgia Tech to a 35-24 halftime lead.

The Yellow Jackets started the game on a 7-0 run and never trailed. The lead grew to 22-8 with 9:13 left in the first half on two free throws by Wright, who had 11 points at the half.

After Florida A&M cut the lead to 25-20 with 3:40 left in the half, Alvarado capped a 10-4 surge with a 3-pointer with 40 seconds remaining.
