Texas A&M 65, Auburn 56: Elston Turner hit four 3-pointers and scored 21 points as the visiting Aggies won for the third time in five games.

Alex Caruso added 14 points, eight assists and three steals for Texas A&M (16-10, 6-7 SEC) while Kourtney Roberson grabbed 10 rebounds – his sixth double-digit rebounding performance this season.

Allen Payne scored 11 points to lead Auburn (9-17, 3-10), which lost its fourth in a row and 10th in the past 11 games.

Auburn pulled within 55-53 on two free throws from Payne with 3:16 remaining, but the Aggies dominated from that point. The Tigers missed five of their final six shots, enabling the Aggies to break it open with a game-ending 10-3 run.

Texas A&M, which shot 16-of-20 from the foul line, hit all six of its attempts in the final 27 seconds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Texas A&M didn’t score for the first 6:08 as Auburn raced to a 12-0 lead. … Frankie Sullivan, Auburn’s leading scorer, finished with seven points. Sullivan came in averaging 15.2 points, but has been held to fewer than 10 points in four of his last five contests. ... Auburn plays three of its final five games on the road, starting Saturday at Mississippi.
