Virginia 78, Clemson 41: Joe Harris poured in 21 points and Akil Mitchell added 16 as the Cavaliers cruised to their 13th consecutive home victory - a John Paul Jones Arena record.

Justin Anderson contributed 14 points for Virginia (16-6, 6-3 ACC), which has allowed less than 60 points in eight of nine ACC games. The Cavaliers forced 18 turnovers while shooting 56.6 percent and committing only six turnovers of their own.

K.J. McDaniels had 10 points to lead the Tigers (12-10, 4-6), who have lost six straight road games, including their first five in conference play.

Virginia held Clemson without a field goal for more than eight minutes in the first half, building a 14-2 lead. The Tigers were 5-for-25 from the floor in the first half as the Cavaliers took a 38-10 lead into the break.

It didn't get much better in the second half for Clemson, which shot 30.8 percent from the field and was 1-for-17 from 3-point range. The margin never dipped below 25 points after halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Virginia improved to 12-2 when scoring at least 60 points and 8-0 when holding opponents under 50. … Harris was 2-for-4 from 3-point range and has made at least one 3-pointer in 12 consecutive games, one shy of his career-best streak. … Clemson leading scorer Devin Booker was limited to seven points on 3-of-5 shooting, only the third time in 10 ACC games he has failed to score in double digits.
