Mike McCall Jr. added 12 points and three steals and Cody Ellis scored 13 off the bench for Saint Louis (10-3), which has won seven straight games and has held its last four opponents to less than 50 points.

Kendall Williams scored 15 points and Alex Kirk added 13 for New Mexico (13-2), which had returned to the Top 25 on Monday afternoon after knocking off then-No. 8 Cincinnati last week.

The Billikens limited the Lobos to 13 points on 26.3 percent shooting in the first half to take a 33-13 lead into the break. New Mexico went the final 6:56 of the half without a field goal as Saint Louis extended an eight-point lead out to 20.

The Lobos woke up offensively at the start of the second half and began the period with a 16-5 run to chop the deficit to single digits. But Remekun converted a three-point play to spark a 14-2 run and put it away.
