Gary Trent Jr. scored 24 points and Bruce Brown added 19 points and seven rebounds on Tuesday, lifting the visiting Toronto Raptors to a 118-107 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Trent made 9 of 15 shots from the floor and 6 of 11 from 3-point range for the Raptors, who outscored the Bulls by a 65-44 margin in the second half to snap a five-game skid.

Toronto's Jordan Nwora scored 17 points off the bench, Dennis Schroder collected 16 points and 10 assists and Thaddeus Young added 16 points, six rebounds and six assists.

Toronto shot 51.8 percent from the floor (43 of 83) and 48.3 percent from 3-point range (14 of 29) despite playing without RJ Barrett (knee swelling), Immanuel Quickley (quadriceps contusion) and Jakob Poeltl (ankle sprain).

Former Raptor DeMar DeRozan recorded 25 points, five assists, four blocks and three steals for Chicago, which has lost three of its last four games.

Ayo Dosunmu had 21 points and Nikola Vucevic collected 14 points and nine rebounds for the Bulls.

DeRozan's dunk trimmed Toronto's lead to 104-100 before Young made a basket and Trent added his sixth 3-pointer of the evening. Chicago pulled within five at 111-106 with 2:07 remaining in the fourth quarter before Young halted the momentum with a layup. The Raptors sealed the win at the free-throw line.

Dosunmu drained his third 3-pointer of the evening to push the Bulls' advantage to 16 points at 59-43 with 3:10 remaining in the second quarter. The Raptors went on a 10-4 run to end the half and seized an 83-82 lead with 2:46 left in the third after Nwora converted a four-point play.

Nwora sank a 3-pointer to stake Toronto to a 25-21 lead with 2:43 remaining in the first quarter before Chicago ignited a 19-4 run that spanned into the second. Rookie Julian Phillips converted a four-point play and a 3-pointer to highlight the sequence.
