Boston shot 60 percent in the third as Olynyk and Turner scored seven apiece as Boston increased the bulge to 83-67, but Chicago used a late surge to pull within two with 37 seconds left after Brooks knocked down two shots from the arc, sank two free throws and banked in a runner in just under two minutes. Turner then bumped the edge to 102-98 with two free throws and Olynyk canned a pair from the stripe after a miss by Butler with eight ticks left to seal it.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Rondo is expected to miss just one game while Smart is expected to miss two to three weeks with a severe sprain. … After turning it over 28 times Wednesday against Toronto - their most in one game since 1989 - the Celtics have committed just 24 the past two games. … Bulls C Joakim Noah scored a season-high 13 points after scoring 24 points in his first four games, and Kirk Hinrich took over for Rose and was scoreless with five assists in 28 minutes.
