Mavericks 105, Pacers 94: Monta Ellis had 20 points and eight rebounds as Dallas handed visiting Indiana its fourth consecutive loss.

Devin Harris also scored a season-high 20 points while contributing four steals for the Mavericks, who totaled 41 bench points compared to four for the Pacers. Dirk Nowitzki added 14 points and eight rebounds, Shawn Marion scored 12 and Vince Carter and Jose Calderon finished with 10 points apiece for Dallas.

Paul George led the Pacers with 27 points and Lance Stephenson scored 18 of his 21 in the first half but also committed five of his six turnovers in that span. George Hill contributed 20 points and Roy Hibbert had 14 for Indiana.

The Mavericks led by as many as 17 points early in the second quarter but the Pacers finally got hot and converted nine of their next 11 field-goal attempts to trim the deficit to 48-45 at the half. George converted a three-point play and made another free throw after Ellis was issued a technical foul on the play, resulting in the first lead of the game for Indiana at 52-50 with just over 10 minutes left in the third quarter.

Dallas reclaimed the lead with a 9-0 burst that broke a 58-58 tie and took a 76-71 lead into the fourth quarter. A 10-point deficit with 7 1/2 minutes left wouldn’t deter the Pacers, who climbed back within two on a pair of free throws by George with 5:16 left, but a three-point play by Harris got the Mavericks rolling again and he sank two free throws with 2:01 remaining to extend the lead to eight as Dallas put it away.
