Heat 108, Raptors 91: Dwyane Wade scored 24 points and LeBron James collected 22 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists as visiting Miami matched the second-longest winning streak in NBA history by knocking off Toronto for its 22nd straight victory.

Chris Bosh scored 18 points and Ray Allen added 20 off the bench for the Heat, who are tied with the 2007-08 Houston Rockets for the second-best streak. The 1971-72 Los Angeles Lakers remain weeks away with a record 33 straight triumphs.

Rudy Gay scored 27 points and Amir Johnson recorded 18 points and 18 rebounds as the Raptors fell for the eighth time in their last 11 games.

Miami held a 55-43 lead at the half but let Toronto back into the game in the third quarter. Gay scored 14 points in the period and the Raptors ended with a 12-2 burst to trim the deficit to 76-73 heading into the final frame.

Johnson’s dunk cut it to one on the first possession of the fourth but Allen and Wade combined for 10 points during a 13-2 burst over the next four minutes to put the Heat back in control. Allen’s 3-pointer with 6:07 left pushed it out to 97-81 and Miami was not challenged the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Heat will try to make it 23 straight when they visit the Boston Celtics on Monday. They dropped a double-overtime game at Boston on Jan. 27. … Johnson has pulled down 39 rebounds in the last two games and has at least 15 boards in four of his last seven. … The Raptors went 2-for-20 from 3-point range. Miami hit 10-of-22 from beyond the arc.
