Magic 90, Pistons 74: Glen Davis collected 11 points and 14 rebounds and visiting Orlando dominated the second half to cruise past Detroit.

The Magic scored the first 21 points of the third quarter and outscored the Pistons 26-8 in the frame to turn a 48-45 halftime deficit into a 71-56 lead heading into the fourth quarter.

Andrew Nicholson scored 15 points off the bench and Arron Afflalo added 12 for Orlando, which has recorded half of its four wins against Detroit. The Magic have averaged 79.6 points in their last six losses but have put up an average of 100.0 in two games against the Pistons in the last five days.

Greg Monroe collected 19 points and eight rebounds and Rodney Stuckey scored 13 off the bench for Detroit, which shot 8 of 44 (18 percent) in the second half.

Orlando began the fourth quarter with a 12-2 burst to push the lead to 83-58 with 6:11 left and coasted the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Pistons did not record their first field goal of the second half until Stuckey hit a short jumper with 1:57 left in the third. They ended up with two field goals in the period. … Magic guard J.J. Redick, who has been battling an illness, came off the bench and scored 11 points on 4-of-13 shooting in 28 minutes. … The Magic outrebounded Detroit 53-48 and got 44 points off the bench.
