Tyreke Evans had 24 points and 10 assists to help the Sacramento Kings post a 106-97 victory over the visiting Utah Jazz on Sunday.

DeMarcus Cousins posted 17 points, nine rebounds, six assists and five steals and Francisco Garcia scored 17 points as Sacramento (22-54) snapped a two-game losing streak.

Paul Millsap scored 21 points and Gordon Hayward and Kyle Weaver added 19 apiece for Utah (36-41), which lost its season-high eighth straight.

Sacramento took control with a 15-2 first-quarter run and boosted the lead to 46-25 on Darnell Jackson’s dunk with 5:26 left in the first half.

The Kings' advantage was 16 after Beno Udrih’s basket with 1:50 left in the third, before Utah cut the margin to 81-72 entering the final quarter.

Marcus Thornton added 15 points, Udrih had 12 and Jackson tallied 11 for the Kings.

Al Jefferson added 11 points for the Jazz, who are 9-28 since starting the season 27-13.
