In his fourth game since returning from a groin injury, Molina hit his first double since April 22 and drove in three runs for the first time since April 13.

Molina's double provided Wacha with a 5-0 lead and helped the Cardinals beat the Reds for the 13th straight time. It is their second-longest winning streak over the Reds, five behind the team record set July 4, 1930-May 23, 1931.

The Cardinals also recorded their 11th straight win in Cincinnati, their longest streak ever.

Wacha (8-1) followed up taking a no-hitter into the ninth Sunday against the Pittsburgh Pirates by allowing two runs on four hits in 5 2/3 innings. The right-hander struck out six and walked three in a 96-pitch outing.

Wacha won his career-high eighth straight decision and improved to 11-1 lifetime against the Reds. St. Louis also won its 13th straight game against the Reds in a game started by Wacha, who is the first Cardinal to win 10 straight decisions against Cincinnati since Chris Carpenter from 2006-2010.

Jose Martinez, Marcell Ozuna, and Matt Carpenter hit solo homers for St. Louis.

Eugenio Suarez hit a two-run homer for the Reds, who lost for the sixth time in seven games.

Scott Schebler added an RBI double in the seventh off Mike Mayers. The Reds brought up the tying run against Austin Gomber later in the inning, but Scooter Gennett flied out with runners at second and third.

Jesse Winker hit a homer in the eighth off Sam Tuivailala.

After eventful seventh and eighth innings, Jordan Hicks allowed a one-out single to Joey Votto in the ninth but struck out Gennett and Suarez to notch his first career save.

Cincinnati's skid against St. Louis is its longest active streak against any opponent and the longest since it dropped 14 straight to the New York Mets from Sept. 7, 2014-Sept. 7, 2016.

Reds starter Luis Castillo (4-7) allowed five runs on four hits in six innings. He tied a career high with 10 strikeouts and lost his third straight start.

The Cardinals jumped ahead with two outs in the first in a span of three pitches. Martinez drove Castillo's 2-2 fastball over the center field fence, and Ozuna hit a 435-foot drive to center field when he connected on a 1-0 fastball.

St. Louis extended the lead to 5-0 when Molina roped a double off the center field wall with two outs in the third.

The Reds made it 5-2 when Suarez drove Wacha's 3-1 cutter 448 feet over the left-center field fence with none out in the fourth.
