Wilmer Flores had three hits in his return from the injured list while Donovan Solano and Evan Longoria hit home runs, as the San Francisco Giants rolled to an 11-6 victory Saturday over the host Los Angeles Dodgers.
The Giants had 16 hits in their highest scoring game at Dodger Stadium since they scored 19 on Sept. 14, 2013. The victory also was their ninth on the road in their last 10 tries.
Giants right-hander Logan Webb (4-3) also returned from the IL, giving up two runs (one earned) on just one hit over five innings after recovering from a right shoulder strain.
Max Muncy and Albert Pujols hit home runs for the Dodgers. Muncy's homer was his fourth in five games against San Francisco, while Pujols hit his second with his new club.
Los Angeles outfielder Cody Bellinger walked, scored a run and struck out twice in his return from the IL after recovering from a hairline fracture in his left leg.
Dodgers left-hander Julio Urias (7-2) gave up seven runs (six earned) on 11 hits over five innings with two walks and five strikeouts. It was a far cry from his outing last Sunday at San Francisco when he took a perfect game into the sixth inning.
Flores, out since May 18 with a strained right hamstring, scored on Mauricio Dubon's two-run single in the second inning that gave the Giants a lead they would not relinquish. Mike Yastrzemski added a bases-loaded walk in the second to give the Giants a 3-1 advantage.
Solano hit a two-run home run to center field in the third, his second, for a 5-2 advantage. Longoria and Flores had RBI singles in the fourth to make it 7-2.
Muncy's home run came in the sixth inning off Scott Kazmir, his 12th. It gave him nine home runs in the month of May alone.
Steven Duggar had a two-run double for the Giants in the seventh, while Longoria hit his eighth homer of the season in the eighth and Dubon added his third RBI of the game on a sacrifice fly.
Pujols' home run in the eighth inning was the 669th of his career.
