Phillies 7, Brewers 5: Domonic Brown went 3-for-3 with a homer and four RBIs and Cliff Lee won his fifth straight decision as host Philadelphia salvaged a win to wrap up the three-game series.

Brown hit his National League-leading 16th home run in the first - a three-run blast off starter Mike Fiers - and added an RBI triple in the second and a single in the fifth before walking in the seventh to finish a double short of the cycle.

Lee (7-2) took a three-hit shutout into the eighth, but the Brewers managed four hits to knock him out of the game and Jonathan Lucroy cleared the bases with a three-run triple against Justin De Fratus to pull Milwaukee within 7-4. The Brewers got the tying run to second with one out in the ninth before Antonio Bastardo got two straight flyouts to earn his first save.

The Phillies did all their damage in the first two innings, scoring five in the first - all with two outs - and two in the second to chase Fiers (1-4), who was charged with seven runs (five earned) on seven hits in 1 2/3 innings.

Lee racked up a season-high 11 strikeouts and was charged with three runs on seven hits in 7 2/3 innings.
GAME NOTEBOOK: Bastardo pitched the ninth instead of closer Jonathan Papelbon, who has not pitched since Wednesday but was "very sick," according to manager Charlie Manuel. … Brown has hit seven home runs during a seven-game hitting streak. … Lucroy, who extended his hitting streak to eight games, initially was awarded a grand slam on his shot down the left-field line in the eighth, but it was overturned and ruled a triple after a replay review.
