Rockies 4, Diamondbacks 1: Carlos Gonzalez homered and tripled to support starter Jorge De La Rosa as host Colorado took the rubber game of a three-game set.

De La Rosa (6-3) allowed a run and six hits in 5 1/3 innings to improve to 4-0 at home and 8-4 in his career against Arizona. Three relievers finished the job with Rex Brothers recording his second career save while tossing his 19th straight scoreless outing.

Gonzalez started the scoring with a solo shot in the bottom of the first and ripped an RBI triple in the third before scoring on a Trevor Cahill wild pitch to give the Rockies a 4-0 advantage. Dexter Fowler went 2-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and a run scored for Colorado, which finished its homestand at 5-2.

Cahill (3-5) gave up four runs and seven hits in six frames. He did not walk a batter but had just one strikeout for the first time since Sept. 22, 2011.

Cody Ross had two hits and scored the Diamondbacks' lone run on a double by Wil Nieves in the fourth.
