Diamondbacks 3, Rockies 2 (10): Cody Ross drove in a pair of runs, including the game-winner with a sacrifice fly in the 10th, as host Arizona won for the fourth time in five games.

The Diamondbacks grabbed a 2-0 lead in the first on A.J. Pollock's solo homer and Ross' run-scoring triple, but starter Jeff Francis settled in and made it through five innings without any further damage.

The Rockies cut the margin in half on Wilin Rosario's solo shot in the sixth, and they tied it an inning later when Dexter Fowler doubled and scored on Troy Tulowitzki's RBI single.

That's where it stayed until the 10th, when Pollock led off with a single, stole second and took third on Rosario's throwing error, and scored on Ross' deep fly ball to left-center to hang the loss on Edgmer Escalona (1-1). J.J. Putz (2-0) worked a perfect 10th for the win.

Arizona starter Wade Miley struggled with his command, issuing seven walks and lasting only 4 1/3 innings despite holding the Rockies to no runs and four hits.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Diamondbacks SS Didi Gregorius passed all initial concussion tests after being hit in the head with a pitch from Josh Outman on Friday and has not yet been placed on the 7-day concussion disabled list. … Rosario's home run was just the fifth by a right-handed hitter against Arizona RHP Brad Ziegler in 855 plate appearances. … Arizona OF Gerardo Parra extended his career-best hitting streak to 12 games with a leadoff single in the seventh.
