Marlins 6, Phillies 2: Omar Infante hit a pair of home runs and Anibal Sanchez outdueled Cole Hamels as Miami spoiled the Phillies’ home opener.

Infante hit two solo shots to left field, the first against Hamels (0-1) leading off the fifth inning and the second off Joe Savery in the seventh.

Sanchez (1-0), meanwhile, kept the Phillies off the board until Freddy Galvis plated two runs with his first major league hit, a one-out double in the seventh. Sanchez allowed a total of six hits en route to victory, striking out four and walking one.

Gaby Sanchez put Miami ahead by two runs in the fourth inning with an RBI single to left field. Two innings later, he chased Hamels from the game with a double to left that scored Emilio Bonifacio and made it a 4-0 game.

Austin Kearns closed the scoring by opening the ninth inning with a solo home run against Jonathan Papelbon. The Marlins scored in six different innings, with all of their runs being scored by the leadoff hitter.

Hamels lasted just 5 1/3 innings in his first start of the year, striking out nine but surrendering eight hits and three earned runs.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Miami RF Giancarlo Stanton was a late scratch from Monday’s lineup with left knee pain ... The Marlins had three home runs Monday, matching their total from the first four games ... Miami manager Ozzie Guillen will return to Florida on Tuesday, an off day in the series, to address media and fans regarding his recent comments about Cuban leader Fidel Castro.
