Braves 7, Brewers 4:
Chipper Jones hit a three-run homer to help host Atlanta complete a three-game sweep of Milwaukee.

Jason Heyward also homered and Brandon Beachy pitched seven solid innings as the Braves won their fifth straight game after opening the season with four consecutive losses.

Milwaukee has lost four consecutive games and has been on the losing end of straight in Atlanta.

Jones hit a three-run shot to left field off Milwaukee starter Chris Narveson (1-1) to break a 1-1 tie in the third. Jones missed the previous two games with knee swelling.

Heyward homered in the fourth to make it 5-1 and Eric Hinske added a two-run pinch single in the eighth.

Beachy (1-1) gave up an unearned run and three hits, walked two and struck out six. Kris Medlen worked the eighth and Chad Durbin allowed three runs in the ninth.

Jonathan Lucroy drove in three runs for Milwaukee. Lucroy had a run-scoring single in the second and blasted a two-run homer with two out in the ninth. Corey Hart had a run-scoring double earlier in the ninth.

Michael Bourn had three of Atlanta’s nine hits.

Narveson allowed five runs in four innings.
