Derek Holland went the distance on a four-hitter as the Texas Rangers blanked the host Toronto Blue Jays 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Holland (10-4) made quick work of the Blue Jays, needing just 95 pitches to complete his AL-best fourth shutout of the season. Three of those have come this month.

The towering lefthander walked one and struck out five to become the fourth member of the Texas starting staff to reach the 10-win plateau on the season.

Mitch Moreland provided all the offense Holland would need, belting a two-run homer into the first row of seats in right-center field in the second inning. The homer, which came off losing pitcher Brad Mills (0-1), was Moreland's 13th of the season and the first of his career off a left-handed pitcher.

Mike Napoli rounded out the scoring in the eighth inning with his 15th homer just over the center-field wall.

Mills was solid in his first major-league start of the season, limiting Texas to six hits over seven innings. He walked two and struck out five.
