Jose Reyes hit a game-tying home run in the seventh and rookie Ike Davis hit a walk-off homer to lift the New York Mets to a 2-1 victory over the San Diego Padres on Tuesday at Citi Field.

Davis led off the inning with his seventh homer of the season to right field off Edward Mujica (2-1) to give the Mets their fourth consecutive victory.

Reyes' shot to left in the seventh inning initially was ruled a double, but the umpires watched video replays and overturned the call, giving Reyes his second home run of the season.

The Reyes homer was the only mistake of the night for Padres starter Clayton Richard, who allowed one run on seven hits in seven innings.

Mets starter Mike Pelfrey was even better, giving up just one run on five hits over nine innings. The one run came in the first, when Adrian Gonzalez doubled to score Chase Headley.

Elmer Dessens (1-1) recorded the one batter he faced in the 11th to earn the win.
